Carol McCaghy is the Marketing manager for Irelands No.1 crisps and snacks brand, Tayto! Prior to working for Tayto Snacks, Carol worked in the UK across the Storck UK portfolio which included the well-known Werther’s Original brand and for Johnson Brothers Distributors where her responsibility spanned a range of brands.

Carol has worked on the Tayto brand for just over 5 years and has personally managed the social media accounts of the most dapperly dressed crisp connoisseur and National Treasure, Mr.Tayto.  Mr. Tayto’s Facebook page has one of the largest fanbases for an FMCG brand in Ireland. All social media is managed in house, from strategy to tone of voice and content creation – it is all part of the day job for the Tayto team whose Digital-led Tayto Flavour campaign was shortlisted in the 2019 AIMs Digital Marketing category. Carol also led the campaign for Tayto Muchos which won in the Best New Product category at this year’s All Ireland Marketing Awards.
