Laura Truelove is a Senior Digital Officer for the Welsh Government. She has led on a number of key digital campaigns, including ‘Get The Jab Done’ with the band Goldie Lookin’ Chain to encourage take up of coronavirus vaccines. She manages several, high profile bilingual social media accounts, including The Welsh Government’s Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn. She also recently developed and runs a government blog. During her role, she has seen over a 1000% increase in followers across these channels. The people of Wales have shaped Laura’s digital strategy, and with the help of her creative team she strives to make these channels the most engaging and accessible in public sector communications.
